Today we will cover why I think Turmeric, otherwise known as Curcumin is the one spice you need for better performance in majority of the sports. Introduction

Turmeric (Curcuma longa L) is a spice found in India, and other tropical and subtropical regions of the world. It is used in different ayurvedic treatments and cooking in Indian culture. Turmeric contains approximately 2%–9% curcuminoids (1). Curcuminoid contains curcumin, which is the main biologically active compound and largely responsible for the effect of turmeric (1).
